Morgen Long

After having worked in Central Otago, Oregon, California and Burgundy, Seth established Morgen Long in 2014 with a single plot of Chardonnay. His focus in single vineyard, single variety instigated the curiosity of wine enthusiasts and wine critics alike, and he quickly became a hit.

His wines are made in a clear similarity with Burgundian Chardonnay, using techniques in the cellar that are common to Coche Dury and Jean Marc Roulot, among other top Burgundy Chardonnay experts.

Tiny production, single vineyard specific cuvee’s make these wines to look out for.

Ampeleia

Established in 2002 in Roccatederighi, a medieval town in the province of Grosseto (Tuscan Coast), Ampeleia is managed by a group of young people including Elisabetta Foradori and Marco Tait, who took the reins when he was just 22.
The 40 hectares of vineyards of Ampeleia are certified organic and cultivated biodynamically. A model of biodiversity, they are planted on three different levels of altitude varying from 200 to 600 meters above sea level.
The character of Ampeleia has its roots in Cabernet Franc, the grape variety that best expresses the identity of the terroirs, while at the same time telling its story.
Apart from Cabernet Franc, other varietals are used to produce the range of wines from Ampeleia, including Alicante (Grenache), Mourvedre, Carignano, Sangiovese and Alicante Bouschet.

Joannes Violot Guillemard is a promissing wine grower with an extensive range of Pommard 1er crus, that is gaining a lot of attention from the specialized critics and wine lovers.
The 6th generation to take over the domaine, brought a new style to the estate, a more perfumed, lifted and elegant wine.

Fattoria le Fonti

Vito Arturo Imberti a Lumber Industry business man, originally from the province of Bergamo purchase Fattoria Le Fonti over 50 years ago.
Today his Children run the 140 hectares estate, of which 27ha are planted with vineyards, cultivated organically.

The wines are supervised by the renowned Paolo Caciorgna consultant winemaker, that is also responsible for Big names in Tuscany such as Altesino, Il Pallagio, Bocelli 1831, among others

Pernot Belicard

Philippe is runing this small 6ha domaine in Puligny that is responsible for some really exciting bottles from the Aligote all the way to the top 1er crus from Puligny. One of the early pickers in the village, the wines are usually harvested by hand and pressed whole clusters, extracting some fine tannins that will allow them to develop and age in bottle.

Richard Rottiers

After leaving Chablis, Richard Rottiers traveled to gain winemaking experience is South Africa, New Zealand and the sourth of France.  Back to France he started his domaine in Beaujolais, purchasing very old vines in the Moulin a Vent appellation and converting to organic agriculture.

Today he owns 5ha of vines and makes fresh, pure and red fruit driven Beaujolais, with a good concentration and structure to evolve in bottle.

Latour Giraud

Once a supplier of bulk grapes and wines to Maison Louis Latour, Jean Pierre Latour decided to step up its vine growing and winemaking techniques to make its own wines, and has now reach an exceptional quality across its range.
From it's Bourgogne Chardonnay to Meursault Perrieres, Latour Giraud is now a name to be aware.

The vines are grown organically, and the wines whole bunch pressed, barrel fermented and barrel aged for 12 months in around 25-35% new oak.

J.L. Vergnon

In the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Didier Vergnon and his son Clement are the 4th and 5th generations to lead this small 5 hectare estate.
All the cuvees are 100% Chardonnay (blanc de blancs), sourced from their own vineyards in the Grand Cru Vineyards in the Cote de Blanc.

Low dosage across the range endows this true expression of typical terroir, vivacity, and nerve combined with the unique finesse of chardonnay.
This is highly recommended for the Champagne fans looking for high quality blanc de blancs.

Geantet Pansiot

This domaine was founded in 1954 when Edmond Geantet married Bernadette Pansiot. The current generation in charge, Fabien joined in 2006 when the domaine was farming 13ha of vines, mostly in Gevrey Chambertin.

The wines are sorted by hand, and 100% destemmed before a 10 days cold maceration process at 10C, than fermented in concrete tanks following by punch downs and pump overs once a day. The wines are than matured for 13-14 months in 30-40% new french oak, and some matured in 600L casks. The wines are not fined, but light filtered.

Boroli

Boroli, a traditional family from Piemonte that started in the 1990's the challenge to produce world class traditional Barolo using modern techniques.
The new winery inaugurated in 2006 was designed by Guido Boroli and is operated by gravity, reducing the use of pumps, thus avoiding oxidation and retaining the purity of the fruit in the wines.

Since 2015 the wines produced by Achille Boroli are tasted and tuned by Luca Gardini, the best Sommelier in the World in 2010.
