Geantet Pansiot

This domaine was founded in 1954 when Edmond Geantet married Bernadette Pansiot. The current generation in charge, Fabien joined in 2006 when the domaine was farming 13ha of vines, mostly in Gevrey Chambertin.

The wines are sorted by hand, and 100% destemmed before a 10 days cold maceration process at 10C, than fermented in concrete tanks following by punch downs and pump overs once a day. The wines are than matured for 13-14 months in 30-40% new french oak, and some matured in 600L casks. The wines are not fined, but light filtered.

Tortochot

Most of the developments on the domaine were introduced by Gabriel Tortochot the third generation of the family to grow vines in Gevrey. His Daughter Chantal took over the domaine in 1997, and nowadays Sylvain Pataille from Marsannay has been involved in the production helping Chantal in the vineyards and winery, that is noticeable on the 2016 and 2017 vintages.

Those are wines that show an intense red berries aroma and a great sense of energy.
