Domaine FL Founier-Longchamps

The Fournier-Longchamps family owns today 60 hectares with almost 30 hectares of Chenin Blanc on Savennières, all certified Biodynamic.

The vineyards are managed by Ludovic Pierrot, and the wines made by the Burgundy specialist Kyriakos Kynigopoulos.

The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak vats with strict temperature control, with 10-15% renewed every year.  Then matured on the lees without malolactic fermentation in the Chenin Blanc to preserve natural acidity and allow for long-term aging in bottle

The multiple cuvées of the estate are differentiated by the proportion of schist soil in the vineyards, with the more mineral wines being sold as the top range cuvee and having the longest ageing.

Mother Rock

Mother Rock is a project developed by Johan Meyer and Ben Henshaw (Indigo Wine - UK).
The idea behind Mother Rock is to make "terroir focused" wines that are sourced from vines grown in a variety of of soil types and made with minimum intervention in the winery.

Mother Rock and Force Celeste offer great concentration and flavor whilst remaining elegant and light bodied. These are well made natural wines with accessible prices.

Blankbottle

Blankbottle started 12 years ago with Walser buying wine from other winemakers, blending it and bottling it.
Five years ago, he started buying grapes and making the wine himself.

This is an honest brand that had no limitations when it came to style, vintage, area or cultivars. Something for someone with an open mind and an adventurous heart.
