Courvoisier Extra Collection Erte # 6 L'Esprit du Cognac
The bottles of the Erte Collection were designed by Russian deco-artist Erte and contain an extraordinary blend of precious Grande Champagne cognacs.
Only 12.000 bottles were made of numbers 1 to 8 with each bottle representing a different part of the cognac making process.
The collection was originally launched in the 1980's, with the No.6 "L'Esprit du Cognac" released in 1988
This is the sixth release which is known as l'Esprit du Cognac and contains eaux-de-vie that was over 100 years old.
The distillery:
Courvoisier is amongst the four leading Cognac houses. Based in the town of Jarnac, east of Cognac, and owned by the Beam Suntory group of companies.
The company dates back to 1828 and it's often referred as The Cognac of Napoleon.
