Tasting Note
Jasper Morris 94
A domaine wine, sampled from tank. A glowing pale green tint with a touch of yellow. There is a good blend here between a fine fresh fruit and the oak, a vanilla touch rather than toast, and suited to the fruit. Lovely energy behind, with the usual citrus note of the vintage. Classy and long.
Drink from 2025-2030.
Winemaking Winery
Winery
The Leflaive family have been Burgundy producers for many decades but, in 1984, Olivier Leflaive set up his merchant house producing wines under his own label from his own vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. To establish his estate, he purchased 12 hectares of land in prestigious appellations including village Meursault to the Grands Crus of Montrachet and Criots-Batard-Montrachet. Today, Olivier Leflaive controls all the winemaking and the ageing of the wines. Each vintage benefits from an individual approach and guarantees the authenticity of each appellation.
