Richard created his domain in 2007, taking on established vines aged between 40 and 80 years. His driving passion is the chance to experiment with innovative organic viticulture.
The Gamay from the Moulin a Vent Champ de Cour is farmed in a 0.5ha parcel of 70 years old vines, sitting in a granite soil with manganese veins. (single vineyard)
The grapes are kept with 100% whole cluster, and do semi-carbonic maceration, followed by fermentation in concrete tanks.The temperature is kept under 30°C.
Matured in used oak barrels (3-10years) for 8 months. Bottled without filtration.
