Winery
The Nicolas family has safeguarded La Conseillante since 1871, preserving it for future generations. Originating from Libourne merchant Catherine Conseillan, the estate was named La Conseillante 300 years ago. The vineyard, expanded to 12 hectares by the "Iron Lady," remains intact.
In 1971, Francis and Bernard Nicolas united the "Louis" and "Henri" branches, bringing synergy to the estate. Renowned for their exceptional wines, they modernized vinification.
Bertrand and Jean-Valmy Nicolas, the fifth generation, continue this legacy sustainably since 2003. Their eco-conscious approach includes precise plot-by-plot vinifications. The family's dedication to excellence and heritage endures, passed down through the ages.
