Boroli, a traditional family from Piemonte that started in the 1990's the challenge to produce world class traditional Barolo using modern techniques.
Since 2015 the wines produced by Achille Boroli are tasted and tunedby Luca Gardini, the best Sommelier in the World in 2010.
Barolo: a blend of 6 vineyards all in Castiglione Falletto, 50% sourced from Single vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. South-west, west and east exposure. Planted in a clay, sandy limestone and blue marl soils.
100% Nebbiolo fully destemmed, fermented in steel tanks for 10-12 days, and macerated for 18-20 days followed by malolactic. The wine is matured in large wooden casks 1500-2500L) for 18 months, and a year in bottle before release.
