Tasting Note

The 2019 Meursault Charmes from Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey utterly mezmerizing. As this unwinds in the glass it begins to dazzle with its seductive aromas of ripe asian pears, peach blossoms, lemon oil, toasted hazelnuts and flinty minerals that all come together beautifully. On the palate this is just as impressive, showing remarkable precision, along with a gorgeous layered texture and mouthfeel. This displays stunning focus, energy and purity all they way through the long beautifully finessed finish. This is an absolute gem from PYCM, and while it is already showing beautiful, it should also go on to drink brilliantly for years to come.
Winemaking
Winery
Pierre-Yves's winemaking journey began in 1994 when he joined his father's winery, Domaine Marc Colin, as a winemaker.
