The Distillery:
Glenfiddich is the world's biggest-selling single malt whisky, and it was one of the first brands to be marketed as a single malt since 1963.
The distillery was built by William Grant in 1886, distilling its first spirit on Christmas day the following year.
Today its still part of the family: William Grant & Sons, who also owns the Balvenie distillery, as well as the Grant's blend, Hendrick's Gin and Drambuie liqueur.
