The selection comprises 3 unique bottles, starting from the Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos from 1972, a perfect vintage for noble rot.
A wine with an intense nougat, orange peel, honey and dried peach character, that is less sweet than expected in the palate.
The next Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos from 2000, another splendid piece with deep spicy notes of cinnamon, gingerbread, burnt sugar, honey and orange marmalade. This is more unctuous and creamy on the palate.
The last of the 3 is the Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos from 2013, one of the best years for noble rot in memory. The 2013 present aromas of preserved lemon peel, truffles and earthy notes, orange blossom, dried peach, and can be kept for decades.
