Winery
The Mongeard family dates its origins in the commune back to 1620. The union of Eugène Mongeard and Edmée Mugneret in the 1920s expanded the vineyard holdings. By 1945, their son Jean initiated estate-bottling under Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret and releasing it commercially under the name Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret.
Today, the estate boasts 30 hectares across 30 vineyards, with vines averaging over 40 years. Highlighting their collection are six grand cru wines sourced from prestigious vineyards like Échezeaux, Grands Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, and Richebourg.
