Tasting Note
Vinous 90-92, Neal Martin, January 2024
The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village has an attractive bouquet of bright, well-defined red berry fruit, sous-bois and rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins; there's a sense of vibrancy and tension here, with a very well-controlled and persistent finish. This is worth seeking out. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London.

Winery
Christian and Isabelle manage a 6-hectare estate in Morey-St.-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, and Vougeot. They prioritize superior grape quality and practice viticulture without herbicides, insecticides, or chemical treatments, selecting only the finest grapes. As they believe great wine is made from the best grapes.
To emphasise the vineyard's character, the wines mature slowly in barrels for eighteen to twenty months, with a maximum of 50% new oak for specific wines like Échézeaux Grand Cru and Vougeot 1er Cru ‘Les Petits Vougeots.
