Lucente is the second wine from Tenuta Luce, and it's produced from the same vineyards as Luce. It's a blend where Merlot dominates and Sangiovese is used as a complement. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, and aged for 12 months in part new, part re-used wooden barrique.

Luce is a blend of mainly Sangiovese complemented by Merlot, fermented in cement tanks, and aged for 24 months in 85% new french oak barrels, and 15% second use oak barrels. The yields are relatively low with 30hl/ha.
