Domaine Armand Heitz, situated in Chassagne-Montrachet, Armand's decision to take over his family's winery after completing his oenology studies in 2011. Under the mentorship of Ludovic Pierrot (former winemaker at Domaine Leflaive), Armand released his first vintage in 2013, which was met with immediate success and widespread acclaim.
Armand's winemaking approach revolves around the use of whole clusters and fermentation. He believes that every part of the vine contributes to creating a vibrant wine. This method enhances the wine's concentration and aromatic complexity.
With limited use of new oak barrels (20-25%) and a commitment to biodynamic practices, Armand's white wines are aromatic, well-balanced, and truly reflective of the unique terroir.
