Founded by Joseph Drouhin in 1880, and nowadays run by Veronique Drouhin.
Organic cultivation since 1990; biodynamic cultivation since 1996.
This is a small vineyard, located below Bonnes-Mares. It has a mild incline and faces due east.
After the grapes are harvested, partially destemmed, maceration and vinification take 2 to 3 weeks for color extraction. The must is fermented with indigenous yeasts and temperatures under total control. Pump overs and punch downs once a day, and the wine is matured in 20% new oak during 14-18 months.
