After working for more than 10 years at the Prieuré-Roch winery, Yann Durieux, a nice guy with an unconventional look and a charming smile, takes back the family vineyards (3 ha) and a struggling winery, Recrue des Sens, to set up his own project.
The Pinot Noir for Les 1er Ponts come from vines over 40 years old planted in very low yielding clay-calcareous soils. They macerate for 30 days without destemming and then ferment with their native yeasts. The resulting wine is aged in new and once-used oak barrels for 24 months. No additives are used.
