Jean Marc Roulot took over the estate in 1989, seven years after the prematiure death of his father Guy (founder of the domaine back in 1950's). Today he runs the domaine with the help of his sister, Michele, who takes care of the commercial side of the business.
Since 1992 all the vineyards are plowed rather than treated with herbicides and now is running completely organically.
Fruit from from Clos de la Baronne, Les Crotots and Les Gruyaches. Only 2 barrels of the Meursault were produced in 2016 after the vines were affected by a strong spring frost.
Barrel fermented and barrel aged for 12 months, plus 6 months in stainless steel with the fine lees. 15% new oak.
