This is a 1ha parcel surrounding the Chateau de Chamboureau, planted in sandy loam soils covering a bedrock of rhyolite and micro-granite.
The average age of the vines is 20 years old and yield 45hl/ha
The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled vats and does not complete malolactic fermentation.
Maturation is done for 10 months on 10% new French oak barrels on its lees with 4 months of lees stirring, plus 6 months in large vats.
