Shirley Roy and her husband, the late Charles Roy, bought the estate in 1999 from the professional golfer Johnny Miller’s and began new lives as vintners.
The 6.8 hectares property was originally planted by Helen Turley with majority of Cab. Sauvignon, followed by Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
Only 2 wines are produced, the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Proprietary Red (a blend of the 3 varietals), made by Philippe Melka since 2005.
The wines are vinified in concrete tanks and aged in 100% new Taransaud oak for 27-28 months.
This is a special edition sourced directly from the Estate with a vertical of Cabernet Sauvignon from 2005 to 2010.
